But is my proposal realistic? What are the chances of this actually being adopted into today’s society? It is not very often that we still see the arts present in schools. Even elementary schools have slowly cut them out. Yet, it has not necessarily been that long age since the arts were valued and very present within education. As budget cuts continue to arise and programs are being forced out, it appears that the arts are being pushed further and further away. Many would argue that the nation and schools can not afford to replace art programs, however many can be implemented at low costs. There is little cost associated with simple engineering projects that utilize artistic abilities along with design, and I have seen this been done with my own eyes. A project that costs less than five dollars per small group promoted innovation, artistic design, and hands on building, along with learning design process. Those who claim money is the issue are not truly valuing the arts, which is another side to the argument. What if society will not care, what if they will not choose to value the arts? In this next year we might not see a rise in the promotion of STEAM in schools but as the generations we are in and the newer ones become more educated and aware there is chance for social reform. We may not see quick results which will hinder the promotion, but the sooner STEAM is introduced in the younger grades, the quicker it will spread and become valuable as a society.

Good. You might consider giving your naysayer a little more stage time. You might consider using some of the sentences from your previous Barclay paragraph.
